Arma Hobby 1/72 Hurricane Mk1

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

Well, believe it or not, this is the first Hurricane I've ever built. Built being a loose term for my attempts 😜

When this arrived in December 2018 the wee man asked me if we could build it with this particular scheme.

This build also got stalled over Christmas and the New Year when I was frozen in fear about doing the Invasion Stripes on the Dakota.

It's now finished and will be given to Innis after school today.

Some finished pics.

That's a beauty! Is the kit as good as everyone says?

Thank you. I found it a little challenging to get the fuselage halves together but I'm pretty sure that was down to my inept fingers rather than the kit which apart from that went together really well

I had the same problem with mine, TBH, so it's not just you.

I'm glad it wasn't just me then.

Thanks

Neat'o Hurricane! And the scale antenna wire works wonders for the realism.

Did you use Winsor & Newton Galeria matt varnish for that great finish?

Kind regards,

Joachim

Thank you and Yes it was the Winsor & Newton Galeria.

Nice work, Mate!

The online critics have (mostly) high praise for this kit.

Trust you found it to your liking too.

:goodjob:

Thanks very much and yes it was a very nice kit to throw together

Cheers,

Alistair
