Absolutely beautiful. Love all the little touches you add to make it “just right” I think @CedB is right. It’s that bottled attention to detail you have in spades. 👍

Thanks Johnny, much appreciated!

New Airbush too. Nice, is it a good one?

It's the same @Procopius uses (or used :( ) and similar to the one @Cookenbacher owns (his is a 0.18 needle), and I only heard good things about it. I haven't tried it yet, but on first inspection it looks so much more refined than the Paasche I own; it's supposed to behave very well with vinyl based acrylics, which is something I've always struggled with when using the Paasche. I'm very much looking forward to trying it out :)

I do struggle with English aviator's acronyms, though; could you please explain the three you used in your post?

Sorry about the acronyms but I see the chaps have piled in and taken care the definitions for me - but they missed ATC which is our Air Training Corps, a cadet organisation.

I got very lucky, they assigned me to the Gnat which I really grew to love (especially from the front seat!)

I took that to mean a Cat C Air Traffic Controller.............although of course you mean a Cat C gliding instructor...........

Ah, my chance for a story…

I took my PPL at Thruxton and the advisory ATC (Controller in this case) was known to be 'a bit of a wag'.

One of the students (not me, honest) called for a 'practice QDM' (Magnetic bearing to a station) and received the reply "Unghh, I'll have to get the direction finder out. Is it really a practice or are you just lost?"

Good to know we have not lost PC ( @Procopius  )

Very good to know G has produced one of the finest T-birds of the Lightning era too

The rest of this page has deteriorated, but you all know that.

Hi PC How's the gang and the new house...

Chances are that I will try it with the boarding ladders and the pilot and crew I still have to add to this build

But not QWI’s - a much higher lifeform altogether.

Wouldn't argue that point too strongly ........... those guys can be armed and dangerous!
