what I did not expect was that sourcing number, i.E. letter would be hard...

3F SA -SX would be possible... until now I found a reasonable 3.....

will manage in the end I am sure ;)

thanks for looking!

and I just noted that I did not paint the walkways black.... and the exhasuts also seem to be the wrong ones.... Tarangus or me :wall:.. rememeber, check photos before, not afterwards ....

Servus Werner,

your "Eierspeis" looks really yummy. How about some chives on top 😆

Having the same kit I follow with interest. Especially the narrow fuselage is good to know as this could catch one on the wrong foot.

Your mixed yellow looks spot on, something to take note for my build.

Grüße

Markus

thanks! ;)

need to do some antenna on top..... but in white, not green ;)

next time I'd probably go with brentair decals.... but the IPMS roundels are great of course!

now it is brentair letters, form another sheet... much more complicated!

This one really is looking great Werner. It'll provide quite a colourful addition to your display cabinet soon.

  • Thanks 1

WOW what a lovely looking wee plane and an amazing collection of Austrian aircraft!  Hmm I wonder why you build those? :D

You've done a great job on her, and it's a great colour scheme for her too.

I hope you enjoyed the build, was great to have you along on a GB as usual, you always produce something very vice, again well done.

... I didn't know the Austrian Air Force used Eurofighters, for some reason I though they had F-16's?

Thanks Rich, no idea....

But I shoud do more Austrians... no 48th Draken as if yet e.g  :wall:

I do have a Kiowa, a Tiger II though, and a Blackhawk in the works...

Yes Austria has 15 single seaters with watered diwn capability for aur policing duties.. and as they say bribary....

They look good and spectacular though when displaying!

Top marks and three big cheers from me Werner. That’s really turned out lovely and it’s always nice to see a well built Safir grace the gallery. Should I ever make another Heller kit, I’d be tempted to follow that great Austrian scheme.

Cheers and well modelled.. Dave
