Colors for Austrian pilot in the 60s

Hi,

 

Can anyone advise on the colors of the flight uniform worn by Austrian fighter pilots (think Saab J-29 ) in the 60s ? More specifically, what would be a suitable color for the flight cap ?

The Austrian Air Force pilot flight suits were a light 'sand brown' colour during the '60s.  By 'flight cap', I assume you mean helmet?  B/w photos appear to be either white or yellow.

Thank you Adrian for your answer.

By 'flight cap', I meant 'side cap' , so the material cap that can be folded and that is usually worn by pilots before flight.

I'll probably paint the side cap in a green/ brown tone similar to the color of the parachute.
