Martin, that rod does not really detract much from the looks of the model.  It's obvious but not intrusive if that makes sense.   Still lovin' that plane!  😀

Thats very kind of you to say, Gary. I still love her :)

Thanks Wulfman. I do too, as you can see. I have ideas for more but they have to join the queue!

A rarely built scheme, I like it in those colours, something different 👏

I don't think I've ever seen it in model form. I know there is a 1/144 decal set that covers her but I've not seen it built. Thanks, Reini.

Nice one Martin. She's really come out looking good. Your completion rate far exceeds mine!

Terry

Thanks Terry. Its been a matter of necessity really, clearing the backlog that I had built up.

Now there's one to like, a lot. A stunning scheme & I think your interpretation does the job well. Such a pity that we only get to see them as in the photo you listed, ie, semi derelict, there are some great schemes among these smaller Africa air arms & their MIGs.

Steve.

Thanks too, Steve. I agree and its only through the efforts of very few people that machines like this ever get recorded. There are certainly many, many more unusual schemes out there :)

Outstanding model and photography.

It inspires me to try a subject outside my rather limited flight envelope!

Thanks Ian. Go on, find a great subject and give it a go. It makes a great change from the sea of Spitfires ;) In my opinion and each to their own, of course. :)
