Ollie30
An old kit but i enjoyed the build even though it did my head in at times. Stole the foil idea on the leg from another builder and applied copper bands to it as i saw this in a photo of the actual lander, i then rubbed it with a dark wash to kill the shine a bit. Added 2 extra oxygen supply hoses to the right side to make it more accurate as the model only comes with 2 on the left, tried to add detail to make it look interesting like chrome studs and chrome couplings as well as some off white shading to pockets and folds to make them stand out a bit more. Really pleased with the face as i always struggle painting faces, they always look petrified with fear or have an expression which makes them look high lol. The model came with a camera attached to his chest but i thought that looked odd so i left it off. Hope you like it, i`m not an expert when it comes to modelling so very pleased with the outcome.

Faraway
It looks good. I remember struggling with faces on the figures I used to paint. You’ve made a good job of this one. What kit is it and what scale ?
Ollie30
It`s the Apollo V Astronaut from Revell, scale is 1:8. About the size of an Action Man, thanks for the comments.
