Erwin
Hi all, It just hit me that, IIRC,there has never been a glider GB + tugs. Also gliders converted to powered . I know that the possible builds are limited . Some WW-2 and modern gliders from Revell. But that might just be the good thing about this GB. So,who would be tempted ? 1: Erwin (host ? ) 2: MarkSH 3: Arniec 4: Ratch 5:Jinxman 6; dnl42 7: Wez 8: John Masters 9: TimB 10: JOCKNEY 11: Robert Stuart 12: Dave Swindell 13: Whirly 14: zebra 15: TEMPESTMK5 16: modelmaker 17: theplasticsurgeon 18: Harry Lime 19: klr 20 :corsairfoxforuncle 21: Tony OD 22: Tim R-T-C 23: Pin 24: PHIL B 25: Cliff B 26: Paul821 27: mottlemaster 28: RJ Wabblyhands 29: Adrian MF 30: TimJ 31:Terry1954 Edited October 20, 2020 by Erwin
MarkSH
Interesting! I would think about doing a Slingsby Sedbergh TX Mk.1 or similar.
Arniec
I am interested. I have got a 1/35 Horsa and a German DFS glider somewhere hidden away. 😎 Cheers, Edited January 31, 2020 by Arniec
Ratch
Depending on timing, I already have a Sterling Mk.IV and Horsa and I also have a Zwilling (I've already built the Gigant) Edited January 31, 2020 by Ratch
Jinxman
Yes please - quite a few gliders in the stash to choose from, mostly resin stuff in 1/72.
Wez
Would this include target tugs too?
dnl42
This would be interesting. I have a Planet Models 1/48 Baker-McMillen Cadet II that would fit just fine. Oh, and a Welsh Models 1/144 Douglas XCG-17 Edited February 1, 2020 by dnl42

Dave Swindell
Scalemates tells me I've got 24 unbuilt glider kits in my stash, mostly Slingsby and RAF Grob types, so depending on timing, I should be up for this.
Whirly
This is an interesting theme being naturally limited by available glider kits and relative ease of build (not much AMS possible 😎 ). I have a few suitable british subjects in my stash so I would definitely join!

Hi @Whirly Don't forget this GB includes tugs, so there's lots of options available as diverse as Short Stirling, Me110, Dakota, to name but a few Its actually a chance to do a bit of research into what aircraft were utilised as tugs and build something very different of an old favourite in different clothing ! @Erwin, apologies for the outburst of enthusiasm Cheers Pat

Whirly
Please add an Hamilcar too, still undecided on 1/72 vacform or 1/48 scratchbuilt 🤣 1
zebra
Count me in - it would probably be an Albemarle or a target tug.
