Graham T
Recently completed this which is of course the old Hasegawa kit with etched & resin enhancements by Eduard. I filled the starboard side intake that is moulded on the kit but not present on CAC built RAF F4s but left the mods at that (rightly or wrongly). I didn't use all the etched parts - too fiddly for me - but the resin seat & coloured etched belts are a must, as are the etched parts that comprise the area behind the seat which provide a massive improvement on the kit's plastic effort. Decals for 20 squadron are from one of the Eagle Strike sheets & pretty good quality but I'm sure the blue used for the national markings is too dark. I was going to use markings from an old Hi-planes sheet but there were no tail flashes on the sheet which would have meant using those from the Eagle Strike sheet that wouldn't have matched the colour of the Hi-planes roundels. Anyway, nice kit!

CAC Sabres were only Australian built aircraft! Did you mean Canadair built for RAF Sabres, as that where they came from. RE your concern about the blue of the markings on the decals, the dark blue portions of the unit bars either side of the fuselage roundels should be lighter. Apart from that a very nicely presented model. Well done.
