HL-10
This is Revell's 1:24th scale Ford Grand Torino from the 70's cop show "Starsky & Hutch" Zebra 3 was the vehicle's call sign for the Bay City Police Department. The model was painted with Tamiya's gloss red acrylic. I didn't use the model's decal for the stripe, I painted the body white first and masked it off before applying the final body colour. The black pin strip was done with decals. The chrome trim around the windows, and wheel arches was done using Bare Metal foil. Thanks for looking. sennapod
Gorgeous, in some of those pics it looks real! and a brave move in masking the white stripe, but yes it came out fantastic (I assume you wanted to avoid any red bleed-through)
HL-10
Thanks for your comments. You’re spot on about the decal stripe. It was translucent.
