Are we talking life or intelligent life? Haven’t they found some evidence of microbial presence?

Ok googled it: no but they did find methane which might be the result of biological processes. Makes total sense to me.

Must be those Dentrasi blue baked beans, they are quite a delicacy back home.

You seem to have come up with a pretty good dazzle pattern camouflage there! Looking forward to the primer so we can all see what shape it actually is...

Adrian

The first time I looked at it I thought I was having a flashback to the '60s! Or was it the 70s…let me think…

I thought it was a lava lamp and wondered where the helicopter had gone.

Think on dear heart.

When you have a think you can share, please do...

I am in the dark meself.

:(

My memory of the latter half of the '60s and the early '70s is somewhat foggy, much like the atmosphere at many of the concerts I attended in those years!

I can see from the macro view of #4 there is still a little more to do at the base of the pylon, starboard side

It always amazes me when I look back at pics like these after the build is complete and see the difference that making a (strategic) mess made!

I've seen you do better with worse Bill. (or is that more with less.  Anyway, I'm sure you know what I mean

I have full confidence in that you'll have these whipped into shape in no time.  Well, maybe a little time - but you'll get there

What they said!

I love watching your builds Bill - the way the multiple materials appear to get chucked on and all the messy pictures…

And then, just like a Blue Peter 'here's one I made earlier' an amazingly accurate model appears.

It's some sort of magic… modelling magic :worthy:

No it isn't Ced, it IS a mad panicky dash towards the shapes I know are in there somewhere.

Often failing on the way, this for instance is never going to crawl off  the paper into becoming a Lightning but in its slow death has been used to show me stuff I shouldn't try any more.

Mad panicky dash to somewhere else.

It's alchemy, that's what it is, plain and simple!

The builds are amazing enough to watch on here, but having seen a number now, for real, in the fleshplastic at Telford, they are indeed amazingly accurate models.

An inspiration to us all.

What he means is "it won't take you 6 years".

You're welcome Alan! 😉

Another look at this after a first (second- many-ish- lotsof) gentle bring back

Well these are better but no banana (Bill doesn't smoke or toke) still lots to do which should probably not take six years but life is funny innit?

#3 shows a need to revisit the upper fuselage too, luckily (?) there is a bit to do up there which will enable me to fix the hole where the rain comes through and post up a pylon which sits just about there

#2 shows work needed in the fillet between the oil cooler duct and the fuselage

Not going to show any more of the mundane acts of war upon the filler species in use, here mostly PPP but occasional forays into the world of Milliput

When this is to my satisfaction I will be inviting responsible adult type remarks

Responsible, OK?

Sure! Did you really need to point that out?

The answer is "yes"

Anyway, it already looks a lot better, a few more TLC and it'll be fine

Ciao
