F-86 F-30 Sabre | Academy 1:48

North American F-86F Sabre "Mike's Bird", 39th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, Suwon, Summer 1953, pilot Captain Charles McSwain.

Mix of Academy, Print  Scale and Techmod decals, wheels and cockpit details from Eduard, painted with Gunze's Super Fine Silver. 
The other metallic shades came from Vallejo Metal Color line. 

My first completion in 2020, hope you like it :)

Stunning build. Excellent finish. I've tried to get hold of an Academy F86 here in the UK without resorting to eBay but I'm not having much luck.

Again,an awesome representation.

Oh no, it's missing! I replaced the seat with the Eduard's photoetched one, and haven't noticed until now, that it had no headrest.
Will have to do something with it, great many thanks for posting this comment :)

I didn't realize the Academy 1/48 F-86F Sabre was that nice of a kit.  Your build is awesome and I really like the natural metal finish.
