Hi.  :D

I'm competing against the clock to finish my Draken.
I still got some work that has to be done.

I've got the exhaust in place.

The tips of "Apparat 15" got some black paint.

And I filled the windows for the cameras with Kristal Kleer.

Today I have to get the undercarriage and the droptanks in place if I want to finish this in time.
To be continued.....

Hi, and thanks Rich. :D
I promise you no BBQ until it's done.
And since I live in a flat that an easy promise to make.
Can't have a BBQ on the balcony...  :fraidnot:

I've been stressing on with the Draken.
I got the main gears ready.

The ejection seat got some PE belts

It took some time to get the belts in order.

I have to the RAT in place.

The I glued the belly drop tanks in place.

Followed by the main gears.

And the the wing drop tanks.

And there I stand today.
I've got the nose gear and covers and some other small bits to do this evening.
That'll give me Thursdag evening to finish her off.
So if nothing unanticipated happens on the way home from work today I guess I'll have this one finished and in the Gallery by Friday.  :waiting:
To be continued.....

I think you should be fine Bosse judging by where you look to be now. I know the last bits always take the most time but you should be fine.

Hi, and welcome to the penultimate update. :D
And with this said you'll understand that I didn't manage to finish the Draken yesterday evening.

I got the spur wheels in place.

And the nose gear.

On her own legs for the first time.
49868081816_bf9169440e_k.jpg419 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr
I had to add some more small fishing weights to the nose to get her to stand on the nose wheel.
I think was becaused I used the resin tanks on the wings, instead of under the belly.
But the problem was easy solved.

The I glued the fin pitot tube.
49867546328_388d287581_k.jpg420 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr
And now I see that I'll have to sand some excess CA glue before I paint it up.

I've added the seat to the cockpit.

And the sharp eyed can see that I've missed to glue the sight to the IP coaming.  :wall:
Thats the main reason I didn't finish her yesterday.

I also glued the nose pitot tube in place.
49867546708_6496e0e515_k.jpg422 by Bosse Persson, on Flickr

And with that I only have to paint the pitots and glue the canopy in place.
And that shouldn't be any problem for Sunday afternoon when we are home from the cottage again.
BBQ time awaits.... :eat: 🍷

To be continued.....

Time to light up the grill.

Does it show that we're fond of the Minions. :D

The came Sunday, and the last day of the GB, and I did have doubts if I really was going to be able to finish four aircrafts in four months.
But i did.
I finished the Draken when we came home from the cottage.

The sight and front screen was glued with Gator Glue.

some of my best stuff is a result of me not spell checking!!

I once sent a ranting e-mail out many years ago out about the correct and incorrect use of data back up on Floppy Disks! Except in the heat of the e-mail writing I miss spelt Disks with a c instead of a s.....you can imagine the results!!! :D
