Some interesting photos, thank you for sharing. 

I think first time I saw green/brown on Swordfish (Fairey Swordfish Mk. II (Serial No. HS469), FB 3S 126A, C-GRCN, 1943, Shearwater Aviation Museum, Nova Scotia.)

Certainly not the first time, Brother, I'm afraid to say.

Have a look at the cover of the TBU #135 booklet I published (and gave you a copy of) 30 years ago. 

K8871 (J) from FAA No.785 Squadron in 1941 also wears Temperate Land Scheme... 

Would you like some Lecithin, sir? 🤣

Codes (W3, N3) repeated on the upper wing of two planes in the first photo. Never seen this before!
