Sturmovik
Good night fellow modellers, here are some photos of my most recently comopleted model, Tamiya's excellent Me 262A-1a. I used the decals provided by Tamiya, and using the trick of hot water managed to make them thin enough to sink into the panel lines. I also used two brush strokes of Microsol. My next Me 262 from Tamiya will be painted in Major Rudolf Sinner's Green 1. I'll paint it in RLM 70/71. jeaton01
Well done. I just built the Tamiya F-84G and for the Tamiya decals I used water that was about 140 degrees. They seemed to like that.
Greg Law
Well done for getting it finished. What is it about these Me 262's that they need to be built in pairs?

Yep, they become flexible enough to sink into the panel lines. 8 hours ago, Greg Law said: Well done for getting it finished. What is it about these Me 262's that they need to be built in pairs? It's like Bf 109s, one isn't enough.
Sturmovik
Here's a photo under natural light showing both of Heinz Bär's mounts, the Bf 109E-3 of 1940, and his Me 262A-1a of 1945. 1
RadMax8
Turned out nicely, Sturmovik! It’s simply fascinating to look at those two planes that are so technologically different, yet they fought in the same war. Thanks for sharing!

It's almost unbilievable that only 10 years separates both aircraft.
