Erwin
Hi all, Many years ago (can't recall), I hosted the first "Rising Sun"GB . Any Japanese subject from any era. Subject not designed by Japan with Japanese markings. U.S material used during the Pearl Harbor attack. So,how about another one in 2021 ? 1: Erwin 2: Romeo Alpha Tango 3: Mig Eater 4: Corsairfoxforuncle 5: zebra 6: franky boy 7:helios16v 8: Rabbit Leader 9: MarkSH 10: JOCKNEY 11: Beazer 12: klr 13: trickyrich 14: Torbjorn 15: Andwil 16: CliffB 17: John Masters 18: Torbjorn 19: Arniec 20: Jinxman 21: JWM 22: Tim R-T-C 23: Alt-92 24: foxbat 25: SimonT 26: almac 27: revDWC 28: ArnoldAmbrose Edited October 31, 2020 by Erwin
Romeo Alpha Yankee
I remember that one, I never got a chance to to participate. I would be up for it this time. I have a few more modern Japanese subjects in the stash now that would fit the bill.
Mig Eater
Sign me up, got some Japanese projects on the to-do list, including scratch building an O-I heavy tank.
Corsairfoxfouruncle
🙋🏻♂️ ok i’ll sign up, it’ll either be an F-86 in an F1 camouflage test scheme, an F-4 Phantom in an Aggressor scheme, or an F-2.

helios16v
I'd be down. I don't have much in the line of military equipment (just a JGSDF Type 73 light truck), but I have a whole slew of Japanese street & race cars.
Rabbit Leader
I’ve got a couple of Fujimi A5M Claudes that keep looking at me every time I open up my cupboard, so you’d better add me to the list! Cheers.. Dave

klr
I'm on board. I have some candidates in the stash, although nowhere near as many as I'd like. The best and most exotic is probably the original release of the Hasegawa Kugisho P1Y1 Ginga ("Frances"). Oh, and the Tamiya Aichi M6A1 Seiran. I've also got a Fujimi Tachikawa Ki-36/Ki-55 ("Ida"), a Fujimi Nakajima B6N2 Tenzan ("Jill") with 5 different stores options, two Tonys (Hasegawa and Aoshima), a Tojo, two ICM Nates, a Claude, a couple of Kates, a couple of Dinahs, a Frank, some Oscars, a George ... etc. I might even do the old Airfix Val, for which I have a replacement canopy. I also have a growing collection of IBG tanks, also in 1/72 scale. So far I have two Type 89s, a Type 1, a Type 3, and a Type 94 tankette. In 1/76, I have several Airfix Type 97 Chi-Ha tanks, and a Fujimi Type 1 Tank Destroyer Ho-Ni.
Erwin
Hi all, If this GB get's the OK and I am allowed to host it ,I would like to add a "sub-GB theme" to this GB. On 7 dec 2021 it will be 80 years ago that the attack on Pearl Harbor took place. A special "sub-GB" will be added to commemorate this event. Unless there is enough support to make Pearl Habor a seperate GB. All subject,US and Japanese, must be in the correct markings of that day. I would then ask the GB to be started or ended on 7 dec 2021. Any comments are welcome. Edited February 21, 2020 by Erwin

Andwil
Well let me see. I have a couple each of zeros, Oscars, Tojos, Tony’s, Claudes, Nates, a Frank, a Nick, a George, and a Jack the stash so in the interests of stash reduction I’ll join the fun. AW ps. I found a Dinah I’d forgotten about! Edited March 27, 2020 by Andwil
CliffB
Yes please Erwin. I've got to make a dent in this pile somehow! Despite what it says on some of the box tops, they're all actually 1/100 scale. Cheers
