mark.au
Hello all; I normally stick to Allied air forces but this paint scheme has been a bucket list for a while and I finally had a go at it. The full story of the multiple approaches and repaint can be found on my site. As usual, comment and corrections welcome. Cheers; Mark. Spitfire31
Superior '09 with a perfect finish. The only nitpick that I can find concerns the sheath around the exhausts. Its front is hollow IRL, so a dot of very dark grey could simulate the opening. Excellent modelling! Kind regards, Joachim

Regarding the trailing edges, I hadn't seen it before either and I was unable to find a pic that confirmed the Airfix instructions to apply it. As this was more of a modelling project than a making-history project I was less concerned with absolute accuracy and to be honest, I thought it would look cool so added it anyway 🙂 15 hours ago, Spitfire31 said: The only nitpick that I can find concerns the sheath around the exhausts. Adam Poultney
Very nice, I built the same scheme last year. I think you've done a better job than I did, very nice model
