chris148
Good evening everyone, Time for the latest off the shelf, the Trumpeter 1/48 Sea Vixen.I bought this kit because I have wanted to do the Vixen for quite a while.I then read a review on line and wondered what I had bought as the review was not positive. After building the kit I must say that I had absolutely no problems at all and would even go as far as to say this could be the best kit I have ever done, the construction and fit are great, the details are great and the decals are great. The kit is built straight out of the box and brush painted as always with revell/humbrol enamels.
Gary Brantley
Very nice build! 🍺 I guess I had never noticed the asymmetrical cockpit before; seems fitting on a rather odd looking aircraft. Great work Chris!😀

moaning dolphin
Great build up, first time ive seen the Trumpeter version. I know they had issues with their colour call outs (silver underside?) but yours is a stunner. Excellent stuff Bob
FortyEighter
A great model Chris and you've reminded me that the "In the Navy" GB isn't far away - I'm aiming to build my Airfix version. Mike

Aren't sure on the mix, unfortunately I am quite often guilty of overloading with what is in the box rather than what should historically be on there 😬
