a Moa Mystery Machine!

This popped up during a search just now, Very unusual airplane, to say the least! I have no idea what this is, but I'm betting @Moa either has one in the works or has a folder on it for a future build. Almost looks like the engines are fitted inside that thick wing out at the endplates and drive the props via shafts? Photo via Pinterest.

Fabulous, it almost looks like the man stood next to the aircraft should be wearing a tinfoil hat with a propeller on top!

Now where is my hoverboard?

Thanks for sharing Mike.

It's a curse you know: as pointless aviation info goes in one ear, something valuable (e.g. wedding anniversary date) gets pushed out the other one...

I feel your pain- Missus 72modeler says she doesn't understand how I can spout FS595 numbers, aircraft serial numbers and codes off the top of my pointed little head, and can't remember what's on  the grocery list....priorities, priorities!

That is indeed the Horton Wingless. Believe it or not, it is built around a large percentage of a Cessna T-50 "Bamboo Bomber," which is screaming to be let out. While the registration (N-number) of the Wingless is known, the identity of the unfortunate Cessna is not. The FAA file on the Horton Wingless is so incomplete as to be useless. Any leads would be appreciated. Here's more:

It's the Horton Wingless, designed by William Horton in California in 1952. And it did fly: there are images in the LIFE magazine archive.

I did think there was a similarity, with Horten!

OK, the KP Bobcat is available, who is going to :-

(a) provide the aftermarket conversion for this?

(b) ask for the FS numbers for the colour scheme?

I wouldn't chop the KP kit I just bought, but I do have a Formaplane Bobcat that would no nicely.

I am doing this one, yes sir.

Ze lidl file has bing groving and groving!
