Twin Jet GB anyone? 2021/2022?

Recommended Posts

how about a twin jet GB? Any aircraft powered by 2 jet engines. That means a Me262, an An-72 and a Boeing 777 would all be eligible. Plus a whole host of Cold War jets (Tornado, F-15, Su-27) as well.

No sooner had I proposed a GB than I realized that I have shot myself in the foot. What I should have proposed is a GB for anything powered by two gas turbines, whether be a turbojet, turbofan, turboprop or turboshaft. Thus Thrust SSC is included (if there is a kit?) , helicopters would also be eligible. If there is anything else you can think of, put it forward for consideration.

Thanks for the interest. What would you enter?

That is a good question. I have got some models in my stash that would fit the bill. A F-14, F-15, F-18, Me-262, Ar-234, Arrow, TSR-2, Mig-25,Mig-31, etc. This is what is in my head at the moment, but there will be more.

Cheers,

Count me in.

If helicopters are in, presumably so are turboprops? How about this for a definition: anything powered by two gas turbines. Maybe including ships powered by two marine gas turbines?

Sounds good to me.
