72modeler Posted January 13, 2020 Share Posted January 13, 2020 Colonel Walter Boyne, USAF bomber pilot, aviation author, and former director of the National Air and Space Museum, has passed away at age 90. See the attached obituary. Also, Hank Buttelmann, F-86F Korean War ace who flew with the 51st FIW, also passed away at age 90. Two great AF pilots.
