Colonel Walter Boyne, USAF bomber pilot, aviation author, and former director of the National Air and Space  Museum, has passed away at age 90. See the attached obituary. Also, Hank Buttelmann, F-86F Korean War ace who flew with the 51st FIW, also passed away at age 90. Two great AF pilots. Thought some of you might be interested in the news.

Fair skies and brisk tailwinds, Walt and Hank.

Mike

I had the pleasure of corresponding with Walt over the last few years and found him to be a very nice gentleman. He will be very much missed.
