vppelt68
I don't know how difficult the day-glo is to photograph, or paint, but you have done that just beautifully, congratulations!

CliffB
Congratulations Dave on a beautiful build. I love small models and this must look fantastic in the flesh. Thanks too for the masterclass on faded day-glo. That's just what I need for my Finnish Il-28 Cheers
srkirad
It looks really gorgeous - clean and tidy, while orange sections break the single colored fuselage and wings. Cheers, S.
Col.
Very nice result Dave. Initially thought your first photo in the gallery was a reference picture of the real machine.
reini
That is really beautiful looking model, Dave! Dayglo is looking brilliant.
Bengalensis
Very well done! It certainly looks quite a bit larger than 1/72. Lovely!
Rabbit Leader
Just adding this last photo to the final shots on Page 2. It shows the difference between upper (faded) and lower (bright) Dayglo Orange a little better than the previous photos. Cheers and thanks for all your complementary comments.. trickyrich
well done she looks fantastic!! Another build where you'd be hard pressed to know it's only 1/72nd!! The fading work on the day-glow looks perfect, very nicely done. I hope you enjoyed the build, you've produced a model to be proud of, it's great to have you along for the build as usual, again well done.
Courageous
Good one Dave. The day-glo has been faded to great effect, not an easy colour to paint at the best of times. Stuart
PeterB
Very nice finish as usual Dave. Pete

Greg Law
Fantastic result dave. For such a small model the close ups look perfect. That is not easy to achieve.
exdraken
Great result! Not sure the 48th scale I'm currently building is more detailed!
Terry1954
Superb looking Safir Dave. The finish (pardon the pun) is really exquisite. Love the silver and that faded dayglo is the biz. Well done indeed. Terry
Graeme H
Very nice finish there Dave, well done on the little Safir and I know what you mean about photographing Daglo, never looks the same in the photos as you see with the naked eye.

stevehnz
A lovely build Dave, I do like the fading on the day glo, very effective. I think I need one of these now. Steve.
John Masters
Superb work Dave. Really well done and it reminds me that I really need to pay more attention and care to my clear parts. They really can become my Achille's Heel.
AaCee26
Hi Dave, This looks just like taken directly from my memories of those kites when they were in the active service! Well done Cheers, AaCee
Antti_K
An excellent "Sähvä" Dave! That faded dayglo orange looks extremely life-like. First the faded into bright yellowish-orange and further on toward a "dusty pink". Something I will try to replicate on my Safir and Il-28. Cheers, Antti
