My 4th build is another Tamiya Mustang that I will build as a F6D with the Obscureco set I will represent the aircraft flown by Lt Leland LARSON one of the aces of the 15 Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron 10 Photo Reconnaissance Group

Good looking progress with your Photo Mustang, Patrice!

Here is S-26, the Swedish photoreconnaisance Mustang (built on the Airfix 1/72 F-51D)...

Thanks Patrice,

The Swedish S-26 differed in some ways from the US F6D as it had an different and bigger camera. They had to build a small box under the fuselage and two hatches on the top of the fuselage. The antenna was also moved forward (not fitted yet on my S-26).

Good morning

I used the Humbrol Metalcote 27001  https://www.humbrol.com/us-en/27001-aluminium-metalcote-14ml-enamel-paint.html

  and 27002 https://www.humbrol.com/us-en/27002-polished-aluminium-metalcote-14ml-enamel-paint.html
