fjaweijfopi4j48
The level of detail can be seen in the little things, like these minuscule pips to help locate the struts in their marked position: The ivory color is airbrushed:
fjaweijfopi4j48
Decaling proceeds. In order to minimize the effect of the carrier, I cut the individual letters of the registration:
fjaweijfopi4j48
Ahem... I put all the chevrons the wrong side, the "arrow" should point inwards. Having fun now removing four extremely well glued white decals, trying not to mess-up the others. 2

Bad luck with your chevrons but you'll sort it. Stuart
Marklo
These things happen, when building my pup I decided to attach the exhausts to the cylinders form memory and of course they are on the wrong side, it's probably the only LHS LeRhone in existence. and no I didn't correct it as it's almost invisible with the cowl on. fjaweijfopi4j48
The landing gear remaining components are added. The wing struts have a good fit, but require careful handling and positioning:

I had a couple of minor glitches with the decals, which I commented above are home-made. So I decided to commission a replacement sheet from Arctic Decals. You may see here that I removed the chevrons on the top, that came along while I tried to remove the top color decals I wasn't completely happy about. The rest proceeds as normal: Still to do: Complete decal application, paint front grills, add steps (one per side), add exhausts (two), add tail rigging, add rudder control cables, prop, windshield, fuel cap:

fjaweijfopi4j48
While I wait for the spare decals I commissioned, I added the stirrups, the exhaust pipes, the tail rigging, the rudder control cables, and the diagonal reinforcements of the landing gear legs. I also painted the front grills and put in place the prop. I will add the windshield the last:
Head in the clouds.
Those stirrups, ah, they bring back memories from my MA4 build, that was a similar size to this kit and everything is small and fiddly. Nice work indeed Moa.

Nice work indeed Moa. It took about 15 attempts to get them in position correctly. How remarkable that such little things could give you such big headache.

fjaweijfopi4j48
The rescue set from Arctic Decals arrived: This is professionally printed, so the quality of coursed is higher: I took a few images while the decals were still drying -with the sun in the "wrong" side- , tomorrow I may post the completed model in the corresponding section after another photo-session:
