Messerschmitt Bf-109 E-1 1/72 ICM

Recommended Posts

Hello Friends,

Today an old ICM kit (Tamiya clone but of worse quality, a lot of work was needed). Converted from E-3.

Best regards,

Robert

Came up sweet, the detail really pops what did you use for the panel lines?

That's a beautifully done E1. That must be an early scheme.Does it date to the attack on Poland?

Brilliant Emil! Whatever the quality of the original kit, you did an outstanding job on it!

She is a beauty! Nice to see the panel joints indicated on the decals, and the finish has just the right amount of sheen.

In the photos, she could easily pass for 1:48th scale. Did I say she's a beauty?

Kind regards,

Joachim

Beautiful !!!

The assembly is fault-free, the paint job lovely, the choice of the scheme great (I like the big crosses on the wings). The light weathering makes it just perfect.

Stunning, especially given how tiny these are in this scale.  Well done buddy.

That is one very smooth finish. Hard to believe it's a 1/72!

Beautiful!

As a big fan of the "Emil" type (in preference to G-models), I love it a lot - and in my favourite scale too.

Looks pretty darned Tamiya-like to me! What were the issues? I have heard it's pretty  much a knock-off of the Tamiya kit.
