Reini78
The resin parts for the Hagelkorn were mostly a bit warped, tried to get the thing aligned correctly, even broke and re-attached one wing of the bomb but my dad still couldn´t get it right. therefore he will remove the bomb again and put it on a bomb cart next to the aircraft for display. Reini78
my father doens´t give up yet, using plastic rods instead of the resin stuff for mounting and aligning DSC_0006 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0007 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0008 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr
Reini78
hope dies at last.... removed the Hasegawa Hagelkorn stuff and use now a plastic version from Condor...its´more crude than the Hasegawa stuff and slightly bigger, but let´s see.. Reini78
my father isn´t really happy with the outcome, but better than throwing the model away as mentioned the Condor Hagelkorn is a bit crude and slightly too big, had to use a spacer on Hasegawa´s (wrong) rack so that the bomb wings didn´t get bent down too much DSC_0004 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0005 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr DSC_0006 by grimreaper110, auf Flickr
RadMax8
What was the major issue with the resin hagelkorn? It looked like your dad had it under control from your post on March 6th... Regardless, I think your dad did a nice job on this one! I’ve now got some reading to do to learn about this weapon.
