Walter
I've got frosting from clear coat matt using Mr Hobby acrylic. It was the last bit in the jar so I won't do that again. But what is the remedy? Do I respray colour or maybe gloss coat, I've got no idea.
Rabbit Leader
This is a common problem and it would appear that 'perhaps' too much matting agent has been used (Matt / Thinner ratio) or your spray technique is an issue (too much air pressure). I suggest an initial respray with gloss coat on a small patch to see how it goes. If it works, then give your model an overall gloss respray until you achieve a uniform coat that returns the original colours. Re-apply another fresh batch of thinned Matt Clear until you achieve the desired sheen. Like applying normal paints, two to three thinned Clear coats is always better than one thick one. Cheers and good luck.. Dave
Walter
Fixed, a little bit of wet sanding then a quick respray. 👍
