Dave Fleming
Wonder what happened to the Scammell Pioneers? they were in the catalogue last year but not announced, and I had expected them to appear this year, but no sign 1
Adam Poultney
Since the 2021 thread was locked, nowhere better to put this. Anyone got any idea when Airfix will be putting out their next Workbench article? I thought it would be today, but no sign of it so far

I understand things didn't go according to anyone's plan last year so I don't intend to blame or belittle by asking, I'm just curious. Also when I revisited the New For 2021 range on Airfix's site today I saw the Canadair 1/48 Sabre had been added to it since the announcement. I may be teaching my granny to suck eggs here but just in case, codes ending with a digit are either new tools (like the Vulcan or Vampire) or new versions (like the Buccaneer or Wellington II). Codes ending in A or B are re-releases of unchanged plastic with new decals (e.g. Valiant or B-17). Codes eding in V are the Vintage Classic re-releases. I bought a couple of resin Accurate Armour versions just before lockdown last year & to be honest - was way out of my depth - so much so that I haven't modelled anything since I opened those 2 boxes & my heart sank - as I knew they were way beyond my meagre skill level. This is possibly the best news I've read in a long long time. Thanks for posting this @Foxbat Andy. Hey @badger & @Lawzer - I may be modelling again sometime in the near future. 2 1
IanC
I'm looking forward to the Aichi D3 'Val', despite its age. It's a kit I've never built, either as lad or dad.

Quite looking forward to it myself and could be tempted, even though its 1/35. All the best Ben

All the best Ben Morning Ben - Yeh I'm really excited - the £200 I spent on the AA kits has now at least given me decals for 6 different vehicles & photo etch that may come in handy too. I'm not one for getting miffed - just depressed at times with my lack of skill - but I'm feeling positive that Airfix will turn out a kit that's within my skill set. Happy Days - Steve
