Revell 76 Ford Torino 1/24

RFI at last! 😍

Hutch “Starsky it’s red.”

Starsky “It’s not red, it’s Candy Apple red.”

Hey guys. It's been a long time coming.  I built this in March and finished in May before embarking on my Massive 1/245 Hurricane build.

The WIP can be found HERE it was a really fun build with a huge connection to my childhood. I'm definitely going to do another car at some point, maybe a Plymouth Fury ( you know which one ) ;)

This kit was the Revell 76 Ford Torino 1/24

Tamiya acrylics.

Tamiya oil wash.

Tamiya weathering packs.

Flory washes.

I think that was about it.  Hope you enjoy the much over due RFI.

That’s the one. 🤩 I knew you were going to give it a shot so I held off. I think one built like how she was out on Le-bays front lawn would be cool. Over grown and sinister. 😍 And thanks for the kind words. 😇

The one I'll give a try too !!

Cutting the door off and bend it a bit will be funnyyyyyy...

It's a pleasure to follow your thread !! One of my pleasure !!

Great finish Johnny right down to the road grim and seat wear. What next, Hmmm, 3 masted sailing vessel? Don't believe I've seen one of those. Anyway keep it a mystery until the start.

Again WOW great finish

Hello John, Lovely built. Always had a soft spot for these kind of muscle cars. Glad Revell reissues these from time to time. Good old childhood memories of these, when they were Amt., Matchbox or so then. Cheers

Looks suitably grubby and used (and slightly abused). Superb.

Those Noo Yawk streets are tough!

Cheers,

Alan.

Thank you sir. 😀

Yeah...it looks fantastic!!!

Can't await to see a Christine build by you and your techniques. So, I'll keep an eye on you.

I love it, the preshading really makes it pop, you must be very proud of this one :)

Andy.

Thanks. I do like it quite a bit. I have made a bit of an online purchase and bought another four wheeled wonder this weekend. I’ll try the technique out in that too. “Not A Fury though” something a Little more anti ghost. 😍👻
