Jeddahbill
Greetings! Inspired by the designs of Werner von Braun and the artwork of Chesley Bonestell, a vision of landing at Elysium Planitia from old Lindberg and Revell parts . . . . Many thanks for having a look, questions and comments always welcome. Cheers, Bill
Pete in Lincs
Very 'Fifties' indeed. Of course it looks like they could be in Utah, maybe the map was upside down? Love it.

Kushan_Farsight
Great little scene, like the fine details like skid marks in the martian dust and the raised panel lines really work in this case! A*!
Carts
As Pete said, really excellent Fifties vibe with this,Excellent.
Jeddahbill
Many thanks everyone! The old Lindberg space kits from the 1950's are a great start for this kind of project. This was a nice change for me and came together quickly with a minimum of scratch building. Bill
TheBaron
Love that scene Bill. I've an old 1950 copy of The Conquest of Space and this is like part of it come to life! Have you seen this book btw? A really good artistic biography and copiously illustrated with lots of his work I'd never seen anywhere else:
