Question about HMS Renown 1905, deck colour

I'm hoping to build my first ship in the up-comming In The Navy group build, and was wondering about the deck colours.

The build would depict HMS Renown as she was during the Royal tour of India in 1905-6.

 

The rear (stern? aft?) deck had some covering (maybe corticene) as in these links:

Would the front decks have had a similar covering? Or would they have been wooden?
