srkirad
It didn't take me too long in 2020 to start a new project 😄  Choice fell on Zvezda ISU-152 in braillescale. As I'm working on few kits at the same time, this is what I've done so far.  Preparing ground for installing of tracks, while barrel from the kit is replaced with RB Model metal one...  Cheers and all the best in 2020! srkirad
Being busy with so many other projects, I've finally took some time to pass the hardest hurdle - assembling the tracks. I've heard from various sources that these Zvezda tracks make some problems around wheels, but it was almost like an Kinder Surprise toy. Maybe problem arises if you want to make tracks free-falling around the wheels, as they are very tightly made to stand like this - straight. Â Anyway, I am now glueing small parts around the hull, so hopefully it's not too long until primering phase... Â Â Â Cheers, S.
srkirad
A coat of primer (Mr. Surfacer 1500 Black)Â is applied... Â Â Â Regards, S.
srkirad
Base green color has been layed down. I am now testing on some spare plastic white wash with Ammo Chipping fluid, so if all works as intended I will repeat on this one. srkirad
I've been lost mojo for continuation of works on this one, but the mojo is back so I continued where I've stopped. Decals (Moskva) were applied some time ago, and today I've finally did the chipping, using Ammo Mig Scratch fluid. White used for this occasion was Vallejo Air because it stays "chippable" longer than Gunze acryllics - probably because Vallejo colors are waterbased... Next step is protective gloss coat (in few days), and than some weathering is to be done... Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Cheers, S.
stevehnz
Really well done. The winter camo sets it off beautifully. Steve.
