Anteater
Hello all, Does anyone know a good source of quality 1/24 axle stands? The ones in the Fujimi garage kits are good but you only get four in a set and buying a complete workshop kit would be an extravagant way to get more stands. There are various ebay listings for American ones but they are far too toy-like and don't seem to be moulded with any finesse. I'm also a bit wary of 3D printed types as they seem expensive and still need clean up and re-work. Is there a competent low volume specialist supplier I should know about? I would prefer a scale representation of the classic pin type rather than the dangerous ratchet type the Americans seem to like. Thanks.
Noel Smith
Have you thought about scratch building these items? They should be easy enough to make from plastic rod tube and card..................and cheap! You could use the Fujimi ones as a guide to crib off some dimensions.
