Adam Poultney
Just another quick Victor question, was the landing gear on the Victor mk1 the same as the Victor mk2? And if they were different would it be noticeable in 1/144?
stever219
I don’t think so on either count, the centre-plane section of the Victor wing didn’t change much between the two marks so there was no additional volume available for a bigger undercarriage, even though a fully-loaded Mk. 2 weighs in at over 75 tons more than a Mk. 1. Handles Page must have been thinking ahead when the HP. 80 started its progress across their drawing boards.

Adam Poultney
Good good so I can use a metal landing gear set for the GWH Victor on a Mikromir Victor if I can get it to fit. The mikromir one has overly complicated gear and I just can't be done with building that
71chally
Should you wish to super detail it, https://www.flickr.com/photos/dwhitworth/49222954198/in/dateposted/ That photographer and a couple of others are worth following as they seem to get superb access and pictures of XH648 being restored.
