Black Knight
Just a few of my builds from of 2019 Some of my favourites done this year My build rate was down by quite a bit, only about 35 models completed and about 10 more ended up on the MU shelf Despite errors and some parts not completed this 'D-Day Beach Landing' got noticed at SMW, Telford. A photo of it is on Airfix' 'Workbench' blog post-Telford report and a photo is on page 11 of the IPMS magazine First completed in 2019 was a re-build of an old 1/72 Albatros D.III for its owner. What I got; The remains of the original kit A donor kit And what he got back: An Airfix 1/72 Mosquito Mk. XVIII A 1/72 Spitfire Mk.I of the USAAC Hobbyboss 1/72 Junkers Ju87G The Revell 1/96 Apollo 11 LM Airfix 1/72 Jaguar GR3 Airfix 1/144 Boeing 314 Clipper. A 'scrap' kit given to me. Props came from a 1/144 B-24 (reprofiled) and a few other parts needed making Airfix 1/72 'Design a Hawk' Hawk T.1 A shelf-sitter finally finished Airfix 1/32 1902 de Dietrich That leaves only about 14 part built cars on the MU shelf Another shelf-sitter finished Airfix 1/72 Red Arrows Gnat (new tool kit) and lastly; Airfix 1/72 N.A. F-86D Sabre Dog using decals kindly supplied by theplasticsurgeon after my kit ones disintegrated My aim next year is to get a lot of my unfinished kits actually finished. I have about 50 kits started and I keep finding more in odd boxes where they've been shoved out of the way see ya'll next year ttfn Fred, aka Black Knight or BK
