As always, didn't quite build everything I wanted to, but participated in a fair few group builds (everything except the last model for the year was in a GB), built a few things I didn't expect to, tried a few new techniques, and built my first resin kits. First one finished was the SAAF C-47TP - Airfix kit and Alley Cat conversion: Then a couple of Spitfires - first a Danish IXe (Eduard 1/48): Then an F.21 (1/48, kit bashed from Airfix PR.XIX and Seafire 46): Next, one of my favourites from this year - Hasegawa 1/48 A-4N in BAE Systems colours, with a scratch built RM30 target towing pod: Airfix 1/48 Hunter - possibly the first of many: Kitty Hawk 1/48 RF-101B Voodoo: Hasegawa 1/48 F-104J: Hobby Boss 1/48 F-105G: Then into the Flying Boats and Floatplanes GB, starting with the Convair R3Y-1 Tradewind (Anigrand 1/144) - probably my favourite of 2019: Followed by three 1/144 Beriev flying boats - A-40 (Anigrand), Be-200 (Eastern Express) and R-1 (also Anigrand): And finally my 1/48 OA-4M (Hasegawa TA-4J and Phase Hangar conversion): And somehow I forgot the Novo 1/72 Herald - how could I? I make that 14 completed models - a pretty good year.
