Mike https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/1407443616773879/ pinterest is PITA... for ease of reference the red on the spinner is unusual. Presumably a shot from Signal or the like? Anyone know more? 1

I find Pinterest a great way of storing, cataloguing and looking for visual references. Back on topic, is that gummed paper tape being used for the masking? If image searching, and you find a pinterest image, if you 'open image image in a new tab' then you just get the image. 4 minutes ago, bhouse said: is that gummed paper tape being used for the masking? Checked the source of the pin, and someone reacted on the original page that it's from Signal; http://www.ww2incolor.com/german-air-force/art.html Agree about Pinterest btw. The tape looks indeed very much like the gummed variant to me.

dogsbody
Now that it has been mentioned, my memory flashed back to the late 50's and a roll of an old, brown paper type of sticky tape. As I was only 4 or 5 at that time, I can't recall much else about it. Chris
dixieflyer
Awesome image, thanks for posting. (FWIW, Pinterest flagged this image as being "sensitive" content. Geez.) Warren

I use Pinterest a lot on a variety of browsers both Windows and Android. just right click and save or touch the three dots at the top and 'download image' in Android always bearing in mind copyright and courtesy. Or you can simply save to your Pinterest account...simples really. I imagine Apple has a similar process. And yes the image is from Signal or der Adler I have a reprint book of several issues somewhere.
