An Italian CR42 would be a great, I just need to get over my fear of rigging first, maybe the Gladiator will do that.

Cheers

The CR.42 really requires very little rigging, so in a sense would be a good introduction to the technique. The Gladiator on the other hand is more challenging in this respect,

Different story when it comes to painting, as the Fiat 3-colour camo is sure more challenging than the RAF scheme

Are there reports of actual dogfights between the CR-42 and the (ironic) Gladiator?

They faced off over North Africa, Greece and Malta so I'm sure there must have been actual dogfights between them at one, more or even all of those places.

Your (ironic) Gladiator has thrown me though. Did you mean the (iconic) Gladiator, or were you being (ironic)? :D

Cheers,

Stew

Ironic as you'd expect a "gladiator" to be a Roman thing.

Look in the box here;

This is in effect the original release with a set of figures. Strangely Hannanats have this kit with the figures and the original without at the same price?
