FPDPenguin
Had this kit given to me a while back by a good friend. I've never built a vehicle before, save a jaguar xj220 when I was about 10. Opened the box yesterday between cooking and eating and managed to get the chassis pretty much done. Just sprayed it black satin from a rattle can, then dusted with silver, also from a rattle can. Now to assemble some other bits and bobs.
FPDPenguin
Done quite a bit. The mudguards look tricky. Hopefully they just fall into place. No idea what to do with this after it's built.
Hamden
Nice start these old Airfix kits clean up well. Looking forward to more of this Roger
FPDPenguin
Had a little tinker with the figure that's supplied. He's supposed to be holding the wheel. But I snapped his legs off and stood him more upright/bum leaning and popped a paper in his hand. An AtoZ maybe? Or maybe even a haynes manual 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Edited December 27, 2019 by FPDPenguin
FPDPenguin
Pretty much done. Might add some mud on the wheels and wheel arches. Possibly put it on a base with the figure at a later date
