MarkoZG
I recently came into possesion of Amodel's Sukhoi Su-9 kit by accident (it was mistakenly packed in the box of other Amodel's kit I actually ordered). I was courious about the kit and got the impression that it has pretty odd looking canopy (too shallow). Only few built photos were what I found on the web, unlike the older Su-9 from Cooperativa. Since Cooperativa's kit is much older, I thought the Amodel should be better, but looking at the photos it doesn't seem to be so. However, there is one example of Su-9 from Russian museum that has similary odd looking canopy as Amodel kit. Now I am confused - have there been different canopies on real planes? Which kit is more accurate? And what are the strange parts in Amodel kit that come as alternative to the weapon pylons? Does anyone know?

Despite the fact that the UNDA is made according to the classical technology of steel mould, the A-model is short-run, A-model better than UNDA.
