Never seen or heard of that one before today. Has the look of a MiG-3 streamliner but reading up it's much more interesting than that. Looking forward to seeing it come together.

Let's get started

I now turn the camera clock on

First I prime everything, it helps to control removing the parts from the stubs

Dry check - the fit is just PERFECT! That what is making P&J kits ideal for this kind of challenge

Instrument panel. Dials are scribed through black paint with thin needle, a drop of Klear into each deal supposed to imitate the glass

Some cockpit washing to add volume

Cockpit done, time to close the body

Fuselage is closed. There are very tiny steps to get rid of but overall fit is very-very-very good

must have been a swine to land you can't see a thing from the cockpit !

Ha! The cockpit could be raised hydraulically during the takeoff and landing.

Was not the greatest game but I take three points. Was very impressed with Lo Celso. Come On You Bournemouth!

This is the first P&J kit that includes masks, that are cut from very thin rice paper.

Today is a working day so I work.

Fortunately I can work from home, so I visit my shed during short break to put a touch or two.

Filled the patches with Mr. Surfacer 500 so level edges

While the patches dry tried on the prop and wheels

Prop still needs a layer of black

When the patches dried very carefully sanded and repainted. How smart was I not to throw away the masks!

I will do gallery pics tomorrow with natural lighting. I call small planes 'fleas'  for their size, so this is my fleabag with the new joiner
