Hi All

Here's the sprue shots.

The construction should be very easy, the painting not so much.  NMF and gloss red are not my favorites.

I'm looking forward to this as ever, there's some interesting builds proposed.

Dave.

I have a part finished one of these kits, it's a very nice moulding and it goes together really well. No fit issues anywhere and it looks the part to me. The colour scheme is an eye popper!

I'm looking forward to seeing your one come together.

Yes!!! Love these kits, fit is almost snap tight in bits. Just careful with the radio mast and control stick off the sprue, notorious snappers...but il enjoy this one, good luck

Hi All,

One pizza and another beer later and all the big bits are stuck together.

+ two beers

It needs a bit of sanding and filling, tricky because the filler I normally use takes a good 12 hours to harden so I'm going to have to improvise.  A few years back I did a "Starter Kit" GB and one of the rules you could only what was in the starter kit for the build so I used the tube cement as a filler and it worked OK.  So I'm giving that a go so I can get it primed and base coated today.

Hi All,

After tedious couple of hours with masking tape and scalpel it's ready for more paint.

The unmasked areas of the wing will be sprayed Tamiya X-32, the tail Hu 174 and the anti-glare panel Hu 155.

Hi All,

Finally the airbrush has been put away.

It doesn't look as contrasty in natural light.

To do:-

undercarriage

decals

prop

wing tips

canopy frame

breaky bits (aerial, pitot)

... onwards.

Hi All

The last few hours have been very frustrating - paint not drying, undercarriage falling off etc., etc.

Anyhow here it is warts and all.

I'll try and take some better photos tomorrow or Sunday.
