JOCKNEY
This will be my chosen victim for this years Blitzen-Build 🦌, sorry couldn't resist the temptation to include a 🎄 Reference. Currently deciding on how to paint it, being a Luft46, anything goes ! This will be built stealthily in between serving drinks to the outlaws and trying not to get caught by Mrs Jockney....... What could possibly go wrong ! Good luck everyone cheers Pat 8

AdrianMF
PM made some great models and chose some off the wall subjects. Looking forward to this one. Regards, Adrian
JOCKNEY
I have just realised without meaning to do it that in the last few Blitzbuild GBs ive ended up building Luft 46 projects. Don't you love it when a plan comes together, even if it is by accident ! Cheers Pat
Grandboof
Maybe you should build this instead Martin H
JOCKNEY
Right, so this is the stealth build set up in the spare bedroom This is me just about to start And this is when I got called to sort the kids out, build time so far 6 minutes ! I think it's going to have to be done on night shift at this rate cheers Pat

JOCKNEY
So at last whilst everyone is watching recorded Christmas specials on the telly, I'll sneak up to the Ta183. Start session Bit of interior painting done in H240 and H243 and canopy dipped in Klear. Mrs Jockney has noticed my absence, her glass is empty ! So session ends at 20:30.
JOCKNEY
Having got Mrs Jockney and the outlaws completely pickled, they head off to bed and I return to the Ta183. Session Start Sprue stubs are blooming enormous, almost need an angle grinder ! So to avoid this one being a tailsitter, it's out with the roofing lead, last seen in large quantities in the Renzan build ! Lead in position, making sure it doesn't foul the cockpit Lead and cockpit fitted along with some white-tac as additional insurance Session ends with both fuselage halves bullied together and clamped to hopefully allow the glue to get a firm hold. I think filler will be the order of the day tomorrow. Cheers Pat

JOCKNEY
A cheeky late afternoon session became available when everyone else was completely stuffed with leftovers and asleep in various chairs around the house ! Session Start As you can see the tail fit is a shocker, 1 side is actually smaller than the other, both in terms of length and width ! Next up filler, and plenty of it. A wet cotton bud, soon gets it looking better. Front undercarriage doors on and paint interior in RLM02 H240 Front wheel fitted more filler on the tail, needs time to set due to the thickness, session ends. More later, Cheers Pat
Johnson
Looking very nice Pat. At least there's no human (or was it alien?) anatomy in this build... yet 1
JOCKNEY
Today's sneaky session Session Starts Underside painted, masking and first colour applied, and whilst I was at it, I thought why not a red nosecone. Next session will see, second colour and my first attempt at mottling..... Good luck everyone cheers Pat

JOCKNEY
Session start, phone not displaying time so improvise required Adding second colour and then mottling Next, fit canopy, clear coat, add decals from spares collection
JOCKNEY
Well I'm calling it done, I'm not chancing another coat of Klear over the decals until they have dried properly. Final session started It actually started about 15 minutes before the photo as I just started having thought I'd taken one ! Decals are an eclectic mix from the spares box I hope you like it, cheers Pat

SeaPlane
Well that looks mighty fine Pat The PM models do seem to build up quite nicely don't they. I chose a slightly different scheme for my Huckebein so chickened out of the mottling although a couple of others have 'benefited' from my attempts! Still looking forward to some Flying Boat / Float plane progress though!! Once again a great build and HNY Regards Andrew
JOCKNEY
Thanks Andrew And yes you are quite right to remind me of my shocking failure to make progress on my Flying Boats, but as it's a New Year, I promise to make turn over a New Leaf in 2020 !
