stevej60
Hi Folk,s well after two Spitfires and a figure for the three previous Blitzbuilds as promised a 1/48 0ffering in the shape of Revells F-16,picked up from Home Bargains for a fiver a wheels up build is in order. The fates have decreed no running around this boxing day so I should get a chance for a few trips up to the loft so a 26-27 build in order. JOCKNEY
Lovely colourful choice Steve. Do the red white and blue bits come as decals or are you going to be showing off your masking skillls ? Cheers Pat

Cheers Pat Hi Pat,there's a full sheet of decals covering everything only the edges will need touching in on a few places, now I'm watching the weather for the two days as I need to spray outside with appliance white any sign of rain and I have an alternative kit which will be brush painted.
stevej60
Evening folk's while doing the million and one jobs the missus has commanded me to do I still managed an hour today in the peace and quiet of the loft,as allowed I have trimmed of the parts being used so here's the basic kit and decal's,I hedged my bets on the weather and nipped into the shop for an extra bottle of Gloss Coat so I can spray her matt and gloss indoors. stevej60
Sorry folk's calling this a fail, two issues,in my haste to throw out the unused parts I've thrown out the wingtip launch rails which are still needed. but for some reason parts are falling off and seams continually opening up as the plastic does seem to be very strange in its feel its just not sticking together not helped by the time limits.,anyway no worries I'll see if I can muster something else up for a Sat/Sunday morning build.

That's really bad news on such a festive day (The feast of Stephen - don't ya know). Don't forget when you start a new one you re-set the clock - so another 24 hours of fun can be yours. Happy St. Stephens Day - Steve
