Only one so far is a land based (and a second one - The Vildebeest which is not finished also, maybe I will finish it during those 2 weeks left till January 2020...). Alreeady 2018 was finished with two Curtisses (Seamew and Seahawk) and three Grummans (Duck, Widgeon and Goose), so the series of sea-based machines is longer then year. But from the beging: 1. Consolidated PB2Y5 Coronado, ( Mach 2 kit 1/72 ) from Saipan, 1945, constructed within GB "floatplanes and flying boats I): 2. Martin Mariner PBM3-S (scratch conversion from Mach 2, 1/72) based on Cuba, 1944 3. Mine opus magnum of this year - Boeing 314 "Dixie Clipper" (Combat Models vacu, 1/72), FD Roosevelt's ship to Casablanca conference Jan. 1942 (WIP exists): 4. Curtiss SOC3 Seagull (Hasegawa, 1/72 kit) from USS Portland, 1944 5. PBN-1 Nomad (Broplan Vacu conversion+Acdemy kit with enlarged cowlings, WIP exists), Soviet Pacific Flot, August 1945: 6. Restored old (build originally about 1975 or even 1974 by my at age of ~15...) Airfix Catalina converted to "Bismarck" Catalina Mk I (Blisters by Squadron, main canopy scratch converted to MK I longer one) 7. Vultee SB2U3 Vindicator (old MPM 1/72) from Midway, 1942 (this only one land-based) 8. Sikorsky S.43/JRS-1 (Special Hobby, 1/72), US NAVY 1942 9. Beriev Be 2/ KOR-1 (A-Model, 1/72) 10. Beriev MBR-2 M-17 (scratch conversion from Avia/Eastern Express kit of MBR-2 bis), Finnish AF, 1942 Those 10 are all what I finished but I have next 3 very advanced (Savoia SM 55X, Beriev Be4, Beriev MBR 2 bis) which are already painted and Vildebeest glued almost completely. Wee will see what I will be able to include to 2019 yearbook within next two weeks...) Like you I have a couple of builds that should have made it into my Yearbook entry but I decided not rush them - modelling against the clock (or the calendar) is not something I enjoy. Let it be No.1 for 2020, since it looks that I need only few more days, but certainly not only tomorrow... Have a Happy New Year! I have not full satisfaction with this build, but as time from cmpleting passing it start to look for me better and better... The Mach 2 kits are not that bad as people think on them, nevertheless each part have to be considered if do not need improvment...I do not how it is with York, I did some years ago Airfix Lancaster ( ~1980 kit) conversion using CMR resin fuselage. Boeing was a challange indeed as I said above to Roman. I am rather glad with it. Maybe the 2020 will contain similar stuff - in case of the year of Short Empire for both of us?
