corsaircorp
Hello Dears ! One more protracted thread ahead !! I've been tempted more than once to start this project ! And knowing that I can resist to all but temptation, let's start something fun ! At least @Moa will look at this thread in complete security, I mean for his own sanity !! Sooo ! Here's the material ! I also have some sort of support !! Here's the well known William Brtohers offering ! Now, the other one... My friend told me that it's a BLOODY bad idea !! But... No transfer and the surfaces need a "bit" of attention... Then, I'll check the dimensions, since the 1/48 writed on the box is surely not a viable reference !! Take a seat, have a beer, a cigar or whatever and let the good time roll !! Sincerely. CC 10
Brandy
I'm in! But knowing you CC it'll be about 3 years before this gets finished! Bring on the beer! Ian 1
fjaweijfopi4j48
Finally! A respectable modeler building a kit of a respectable plane! And nothing more charming than registrations and motifs firmly etched on the surface of the plastic, heralding a time of vigorous and healthy puttying and sanding exercise! Beautiful bumblebee! Looking forward to your entanglement. Cheers 1
corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Looking forward ?? Seem all done.... The testors nothing more than a mere try... Vigorous sanding ??? And more than that ! Then the shape of this cowling is a complete miss, it's almost good if you want to reprodoce a Coanda Add to this, the kit is at a mere 1/51... Missing 4mm on such a tiny thing... Well, I'm turning myself to a Dora Wing one... More to come soon... CC
Marklo
Suddenly you can’t move for Gee Bees. The testers kit look fun, seeing as how they also make filler, clearly their business strategy was to sell the kits cheap and then make up their profits on putty. I have the Williams one in my stash but I’m absolutely positively not touching it till I get my wip down to single figures ( should be finished the Stuka this week , but I have two what ifs that are next up hmmm)

Pete in Lincs
You could always build the Testors 'thing' as the Gull winged two seat trainer with the four blade prop. In US Navy colours.

bigbadbadge
Excellent stuff CC, I will tag along if I may, got the Williams Brothers kit of R1 and Z and the Lindberg one which I might move on , not sure yet. The plans look great and will be useful for your cockpit structure. Good luck with your builds Chris

Pete in Lincs
I wondered where this build had gone to. Were the plans found in a bar, by any chance? They're not very accurate though. No sign of the Corsair style crank wing. Tsk!
