This was meant to be a quick out of the box build - which then sat on my bench for months. With the start of the holidays I managed to get it finished - my first completed kit since February 🥺 Completed straight from the box with the kit decals, brush painted with Tamiya acrylics. Minimal weathering as I gather they kept these aircraft very clean in the 1930’s. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. Yes they were kept clean in the thirties and as those markings represent the Shuttleworth Gladiator. Clean is the most accurate.

No, sorry Tania, though I think from memory the Matchbox Gladiator had the same markings, you'd be welcome to those if I can find them, from the builds in the MB group build a year or so back, the decals seem to work ok after all this time with sensible precautions.

Luvly!  I'm a big fan of clean aircraft, whether that's because the originals were kept that way, or because they came that way from the factory.  Could be that I'm too scared to weather my models, but I build 'em clean.  Cheers!
