Skodadriver
I retired in October last year (2018) which meant more time to devote to 1/144 civil aviation although as it turned out I wasn’t as productive in 2019 as some previous years. In the normal way of modelling, a few builds I was confident I’d finish have been delayed for a variety of reasons and won’t make their debuts until next year. All the models featured here were finished in 2019 although several were started in 2018 and the Austrian A319, which was going to be finished in a completely different livery, actually dates back to 2017. All are new builds except the Finnair A319 which is an old model refurbished and re-finished. More information about the individual models can be found in the RFI threads which I have linked. Hope you like the collection of civilians. See you in 2020. Dave G Iberia Airbus A321-212 - Revell kit with 8A Decs decals. In RFI here Air China Airbus A350-941 - Revell kit with TwoSix decals. stevehnz
A lovely line up Dave, I'm well on the way to appreciating the beauty of airliner schemes thanks to you & a few others. My stock of kits is beginning to reflect this. How was the Ozmods Bristol Freighter? I've a couple to do, the flight deck looks really good on yours, decals or their clear windows with details option? Steve.
stringbag
Congratulations Dave. That's an impressive line up indeed, and although it would be nearly impossible for me to single out any one as a favourite, that Thomas Cook A321 is rather special. A great output and nice to see them all grouped together like this so thanks for posting. Chris.

It's a while since I built it but the only issue I remember is that the struts between the undercarriage and the lower fuselage were a bit over-scale and had to be replaced, not exactly a big deal. The gold lines are missing from the decal cheatlines. I added these from thin decal stripe which worked better than I had any right to expect. The cockpit is solid and I used an adapted Authentic Airliners Electra windscreen to improve the appearance.
JWM
Excellent builds! The 1/144 is a perfect scale for airlines, and your builds confirms that. Regards J-W

The Tu-204 should have been ready for Bellahouston in October but I ran into problems fitting the left engine (mentioned in the RFI thread) which delayed it. I was delighted to hear from @Malair that he had the same trouble when he built his Cubana Tu-204 so it wasn't due to my own incompetence! DAG058
Amazing work! Do you photoshop the flight deck or is there really a tiny little crew in there?

Thanks very much. Some airliner modellers do wonderful things with detailed flight decks and miniature crew but I don't have that level of skill so I use decals. The trend towards "photo real" window decals was started a few years ago by Authentic Airliner Decals and most of my models use their products. More recently 8A Decs and PAS Decals have joined the party. The Tu-204 has 8A decals. I am currently experimenting with making my own cockpit decals because there are still plenty of gaps in the "photo real" ranges, notably classic propliners. Once I get the technique sorted the IL-18 will be first in the queue for retrofitting.
