Brad
Despite having several family emergencies this year that included falling sick myself necessitating surgery and a hospital stay, I managed to have a rather productive year, completing 18 19 models. Here they are in no particular order. 1/35 Tamiya Captured Kubelwagen 1/32 Trumpeter Sukhoi Su 25K Frogfoot, Czech Air Force. Completely OOB. 1/48 Hasegawa B5N2 Kate, Surrender Air Force. 1/72 Airfix Spitfire Mk 22 Egyptian Air Force. Aftermarket decals from Hi Line. 1/72 Dragon MiG 17F VPAF. Decals and pilot from the spares box. Stand is from Airfix. 1/72 Revell Messerschmitt P1099B Heavy Fighter/Bomber 'What if'. Decals and bomb/bomb rack from the spares box. 1/72 Hasegawa Polikarpov I-16. OOB build, this was my Blitz Build earlier in the year, built in less than 24 hours straight. 1/35 Bronco 40mm Bofors Gun, OOB build. 1/48 Academy MiG 21 PFM, Angolan Air Force. Markings from the spares box. 1/72 Mitsubishi Ki 90 Thunder Lord 'What If'. Original kit is the Dragon Me P 1101, but in my fantasy world the aircraft was used by the 520th Temporary Interception Group to defend the home islands from B 29 attacks. Decals from the spares box. 1/32 Revell F4U Corsair, El Salvadorian Air Force. OOB build markings painted on. 1/48 Lindberg SE5a, Polish War of Independance. Decals and guns from the spares box. 1/72 Tamiya Spitfire Mk Vb, Turkish Air Force training school. Decals from Blackbird Models. 1/48 (kind of) Monogram MiG 15, North Korean Air Force. Decals from the spares box. 1/72 Airfix F-84F Thunderjet. Decals from the spares box. 1/72 Hasegawa P-51B Mustang, OOB build. 1/72 Academy Jeep, OOB build. 1/72 Academy Kubelwagen, OOB build. 1/48 Fujimi A-6 Intruder RAAF 'What if'. Aircraft participated in Operation Sheep, the liberation of the Communist controlled New Zealand. Decals and weapons from the spares box. reini
Thats an awesome collection. I like that your choices of types and markings are not very common. My favourite is probably the Frogfoot.
