Adam Poultney
Wow! 2019 has been quite a year! I have built so many models and learnt so much. Starting in January, here's my Tupolev Tu144 (98% done just a few bits waiting for a rainy day) Same kit, built three years apart. No WIP for this one unfortunately. Next up was my Bf109 Emil, the first of my 1/48 Airfix ones No WIP, but there's the RFI thread Next up was a Spitfire, and playing around with preshading for the first time. Using a pen of course..... When I have a perfectly good airbrush. Doesn't look too bad though to be fair I also built a Lanc, I haven't taken any photos of the (almost) completed model, so this is a placeholder until then Then I found some V Bombers on eBay for a good price.............. Although not completely finished, I'll link to the other two WIP threads Built this in a few days to take a break from the Victor I built another Spitfire, which I have not taken finished pictures of! Placeholder. I will take photos tomorrow. Another 109 in 1/48! I got my hands on Mikromir's Victor B.1 pretty quickly after release. This is close enough to finish to post here I think While at a Warhammer event, I got to try out Games Workshop's Contrast paint range. ~15 minutes of work there trying it out, and finishing touches at home led to this. More 40k! (and a bunchmore of these) I built a MiG! And another Messerschmitt! Finally got preshading! Airfix Fw190 1/72, built half of it with beer (or cider?) Another one I need to take pictures of. Placeholder again, this photo is from near then end of the build (although I still need to put on the rockets it's armed with) Blitzbuild for no reason other than I could... And I wanted a new Spitfire right then. Someone painted a Spitfire wrong! This Vulcan lost a few pieces. bad quality Spitfire family photo! My favourite build of the year. My Vulcan B.1a in 1/144 ] And me starting out flying lessons with a trial lesson. A rare photo of a clean-shaven me. And here's a bunch of photos from unfinished and near finished builds
